This is the easiest way on how I portion my cakes to get the most servings from them.
You will need a large sharp knife and either a chopping board or big plate/tray.
Firstly, remove any inedible decorations and cut the whole way across the cake.
Lay the cut piece onto your chopping board or plate and cut again into finger slices.
You can first cut in lengthways in half then in half again if you want to be really precise!
I then do another cut through the middle to give you double portions.
Serve up and enjoy!
